But in 1886, David H. McConnell, started a movement of defiance. He hired an all female sales team to help grow his small fragrance company, Avon. He recognised that women were more than just wives and mothers. They wanted to work outside the home, have control over their finances and step into their power.
Over 130 years later, this spirit has grown and evolved into the WATCH ME NOW movement - created to celebrate the power of women, the doers, the survivors. A renewed purpose that enables our Beauty Representatives, customers and associates to beat the odds, defy expectations and fulfil their potential. And when they do, Avon will be right beside them, supporting them and cheering them on.
